When it is an emergency, our ICU team is there for you and your pets. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our veterinarians and nurses are dedicated to providing the best care for your animal.

Our Services

Our state-of-the-art ICU offers advanced therapy and monitoring capabilities for our patients. Specialized equipment includes continuous cardiac monitoring, mechanical ventilation and oxygen cages.

  • Critical care monitoring: continuous ECG (telemetry), pulse oximetry, capnography, direct and indirect blood pressure monitoring, central venous pressure, coagulation testing, colloid osmometry, arterial blood gas, electrolyte and lactate analysis.

  • Blood component transfusion therapy: blood typing and cross-matching capability allows for STAT blood testing, in house blood bank.

  • Oxygen supplementation, nebulization, continuous thoracic suction and drainage, mechanical ventilation.

  • Enteral and parenteral nutrition, advanced fluid and electrolyte therapy

  • Multimodal analgesia (pain control), including continuous rate infusion and epidural techniques.

  • Thoracostomy and tracheostomy tube placement and management.

  • Emergency surgery and endoscopy

  • Focused Assessment Sonography for Trauma (FAST)-allows quick ultrasound evaluation of body cavities to look for the abnormal accumulation of free fluid.

  • Diagnostic imaging modalities: digital radiography, ultrasonography, computed tomography (CT scan) and MRI.

  • Cardiopulmonary cerebral resuscitation, defibrillation, and advanced post-resuscitation support
